Keith Haring Moved a Generation with His Artwork—Now, See It for Yourself!

The Arlington Museum of Art is dedicated to champion creativity and to provide access to art for the cultural enrichment and economic development of our community. The AMA is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization administered by a board of trustees and run by a small staff with assistance from a dependable volunteer base.

Arlington Museum of Art will present Keith Haring: "Against All Odds.” Together, more than 50 original works serve to deconstruct the traditional view of Haring as an artist. Beyond his well-known graphic iconography, the exhibition also explores his use of mark-making as a metaphor and his desire to address weighty subjects such as consumerism, poverty, and violence.

The Haring exhibit is a continuation of AMA’s commitment to bringing renowned artists to North Central Texas, including works by Vivian Maier, Ansel Adams, Toulouse Lautrec, Rembrandt, Pablo Picasso, Frank Lloyd Wright, and Milton Greene.

Admission $5 for students and seniors, $10 for adults, and free for children children under 12. Donations are also welcome. We encourage you to check out this telling exhibit while it’s available!

McDermott Park, providing the perfect balance of comfortable and convenient apartments in Plano, Texas, is helping spread the word about this special event happening in our community! We believe it’s in your best interest to attend with family and friends!
